| Back in the comfortable surroundings of home, the memories of what happened while at college circled around in his head. It was such a world away and such a surreal experience. Nonetheless, the Word of God remained a critical part of his life. Needless to say, his jewish family wasn't all too happy about his new found faith. | |

After returning to the job he held while going to high school and during winter break, the young man was back into his routine. Work all day, listen to music at night while reading the Word of God. Go to the music store on weekends, read more. While some might have found this routine boring, the young man became fascinated by the scriptures and the spritual side of life. After all, were those really angels? One day, the young man went to the local shopping center with his family. As they rode up the escallator to the second floor, you could see the record department at the top. As they get off, there are two large racks where the new releases are kept. Directly facing the young man is Manfred Mann's 'Angel Station'. The young man froze in his tracks. This was exactly the feeling he left the Depot with. |
| Weeks pass, the seasons change. It's is now the beginning of summer. The young man is struck by a vision. The Lord asks him to write it down. It's a lengthy document addressed to those at the Depot. In it the young man details out what he believes is going on at the spiritual level. He notes the fact that if they are after his soul, that it was only going to become more difficult as time went on. It was as if the young man was daring the forces of evil, if there were any. After all, this could easily have been all one sick coincidence. The young man realized that the inspiration for the document was not from within and that if God wanted it done, he would do it. He was certain there had to be a good reason for the document. After all, this was a young man who hated writing. Yet the ink flowed freely from his pen. | |
| After a few weeks, the young man decides to go up to the small college town to visit. The town was now 500 miles away and the young man no longer had a vehicle to drive, having given his VW Beetle to his sister when he went off of college. So he decides to hitch hike up. He gathers up his backpacking gear and hits the road with $100 in his pocket. Along the way, the young man is picked up by three young people in a VW Beetle on their way to a Grateful Dead concert in Rochester, NY. They ask the young man if he would like to go with them. The young man steps into the bug. They arrive at the concert only to find that it had already ended about 15 minutes before their arrival. The young man was taken by the strange feeling he got from the crowd as they passed through them. The driver decides he wanted to go to the hotel where the Dead were staying the night. We stood in the lobby for some 10 unexplained minutes before returning to the road. The young deadheads drop the young man off where they picked him up on their way back and the young man spends the night at the side of the road. Curious turn of events but the young man still had the feeling he was in the right place at the right time. | |
| The next morning, the young man completes his journey to town. There, he finds a secluded place to pitch tent and heads into town to get supplies. The young man stocks up on food at the local grocery store then heads over to the bible study house to say hello to his friends. He also runs into Tenney, his bible study friend. They, again, get into a discussion regarding how God would create the entire world, and entire race of humans, give those of use who believe in him places in heaven, just to reach one lost soul. In particular, we discussed a fallen angel. It was a very spiritual conversation. Somehow, both these individuals were aware that not only was this possible but that they both had strong inner thoughts that this was the purpose of God, redemption. Not willing that any be lost. That somehow, he had a special place in his heart for one fallen angel; an angel that lived in this world as a female spirit that never dies. Tenney welcomes the young man to her home to freshen up from his journey. There he showers and heads back to his camp to change clothes. | |

That night, the young man ventures back into the Depot for what will be the last time. Upon entering, the Bossman with the pony tail meets him and tells the young man that he is no longer welcome there. The young man smiles and leaves the bar and heads back to camp. The next morning, the young man heads back home. This time with a sense of closure that what needed to be done has been done. Obviously, they had received the communique. On his way out of town, he is passed on the road by one of the workers from the bar during his college days. It was obvious that they took note of his presence. |
